Led by Jodie, our experienced Postnatal Facilitator, these six workshops combine evidence, practical know-how and real support for the wonderfully messy first months of parenthood. We’ll help you understand your baby, their cues, feeding, development, movement and need for closeness, but we’ll also look after the humans raising them.
No perfect routines. No parenting rulebook. No pretending everyone’s loving every minute. Just practical tools, reassurance and somewhere familiar to come back to each week, because babies need looking after. Parents do too!

What The Workshops Cover
⭐
Real Life With a Baby
Sleep, feeding, settling, slings, cues, development and all the little things nobody quite thought to mention.
⭐
You Still Matter!
We’re interested in the person holding the baby too. Confidence, relationships, adjustment, wellbeing and finding your own way through parenthood, whatever your family looks like.
⭐
Somewhere to Come Back To!
Same place. Familiar faces. People who get it. A reason to get out of the house, ask the question, have an adult conversation and build your community, week after week.
What Are The Postnatal Workshops?
⭐
What About Me?
Becoming a parent doesn’t make you stop being a person! Your needs, your identity, your relationships, and finding your feet when life suddenly looks very different.
⭐
Hold Me Close
You cannot spoil a baby with closeness. Holding, handling, carrying, movement and practical ways to help your baby feel safe, while making everyday life work for you too.
⭐
What Are You Trying to Tell Me?
No words. Plenty to say. Learn to spot your baby’s cues, understand how their developing brain communicates, and feel more confident responding without second guessing everything.
⭐
When Do They Sleep?
The question every exhausted parent eventually asks. Understand what’s biologically normal for infant sleep, what you can realistically influence, and how sensory cues and simple rituals can help, without promising a mythical baby who sleeps 12 hours.
⭐
Food, Faces & First Tastes
Food is play! Explore responsive feeding, first foods, textures, sensory experiences and how to help your baby discover food at their own pace.
⭐
Just Let Them Play!
Play is how babies figure out the world. Discover simple ways to support curiosity, movement, independence and development, without needing a house full of expensive baby stuff.
Common Questions
When’s best to join you?
Whenever you’re ready, there’s no right week. Come with a brand new baby, wait until you’ve found your feet a little, or discover us months later. Start when it feels right for you and your family.
What if my baby cries the whole time?
Then they do. Babies are very welcome to be babies here! Feed, change, cuddle, walk around, step outside or stay exactly where you are. Nobody expects your baby to behave a certain way and nobody’s keeping score.
Do I need to have done the NPPC Antenatal Workshops?
Not at all. You don’t need to have started with us to belong here. Maybe you knew us during pregnancy, maybe someone recommended us after your baby arrived, or maybe you’ve just found us on social media. However you got here, come in!
Officially Imperfect.
Prep without pressure. People before perfection. A community from pregnancy onwards.
